Haven't written in ages as life has been a bit hectic what with starting lectures and what not at uni ... so far ive learnt to get there early to nab a seat at the back, get comfy and day dream away!!!!
... anywhoo with an impending cristmas ball i can't help butg to be side tracked with finding a perfect dress. However as this is the first ball this can present certain problems such as:
- degree of formality!
- dress length
- new or old dress (one that no one has seen)
- acccessories!!
Essentially we just want to look preety and to have others notcie the extra care and effort we have made for the night. Personally i am a preety much low maintenance kind of girl, i only wear a hint of blusher and this is a rareity- a luxury if i remember to put it on in the morning. Sometimes foundation is needed to hide my eye bags but otherwise i don't see the point in pilling on the slap, as when you do dress up there is less of a change and for me therfore you wont transform - this what i love about going out the ability to transform and make that extra special effort!
However this is an opportunity to go shopping and really what girl doesn't like shopping =) i know i love it!.... especially a shopping trip which is dress orienatated, however i am torn between finding a new dress or wearing this dress whihc i have only worn once, love and no one apart form my family has seen. This dress in question i am particully in love with as orginally it was a skirt and made me look like a middle aged housewife who should be making apple pie for her three kids not a great look for an 18 year old. However after i unrolled the waistband the skirt became a rather chic (i like to think) strapless dress. The boob tube is black and the skirt is white with blakc horizontal stripes around the bottom in various thicknesses. As i am not blessed with height the dress i feel is quite flattering stopping just on my knee ... what do i do?
To buy a new dress or to wear an old dress??
...... or do i hear shoppin for new accessories?
